I'm alive
I know it's literally been forever since I updated this thing=)
I returned to the workforce on the 20th of February. Working for Citigroup. I must say I LOVE it. The $$ is awesome. They have actually added on another department to mine which means I have a possibility to make more $$!
Ipromise to come back and actually UPDATE this thing!

meal planning
and why it does NOT work fro my family...
I tried meal planning. I gave it a good attempt. However, It just doesn't work for my family Why? Because some nights I have pasta planned and then I don't feel like eating pasta...and then other night I have pizza planned and Lancelot doesn't feel like it. Lancelot is not the type of person who will just "eat it" even if he doesn't feel like it.We DO however use our stockpile really well even without a meal plan so for us family it works..for others it might not =)

My weekly what did you do this week?! post in terms of prepping for long term survival?
Honestly, I didn't do ANY shopping. I actually spent several days not even leaving my house (I know shocker!). I did however do TON's of research, do swagbucks surveys, AND put together my Amazon.com Wishlist.
I have decided that for now I am saving my Amazon Gift Cards I get and doing one LARGE purchase in the month of October. That way I have time to tinker with my wishlist and save up my MONEY! and hopefully have a large about of Amazon Gift Cards from using swagbucks!

Today...Today
Today (yes, it's passed midnight) is a VERY important day. I go for a job interview. Technically, I was already hired by the company but the problem is the class I need to take doesn't start till APRIL so they are trying to get me into another department. PLEASE send good karma my way!
Why am I looking for another job? Because my CURRENT job is only schedualing me one day every TWO weeks! I can't survive on that!
I am really, really, really hoping this department takes me on! I actually think I would like this job better then the other job this company already hired me for.
